Nokia 5530 XpressMusic officially announced by Nokia

The cheaper version of the highly popular Nokia 5800 XpressMusic was officially announced yesterday by Nokia – it’s called Nokia 5530 XpressMusic. We are talking about the next bestseller of the company.

Nokia 5530 XpressMusic has got a large 2.9 inch touchscreen display with tactile feedback sporting resolution of 640×360 pixels widescreen. It runs on the Symbian S60 5th Edition, there is also Wi-Fi b/g support, Bluetooth, EDGE, 3.2 megapixels camera with autofous and LED flash, 3.5 mm headset jack, FM Radio with RDS, 150MB of internal memory and microSD card slot – HotSwappable with 4GB microSD card in the package.

5530 XpressMusic will be smaller version of the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, which has 3.2 inch touchscreen display. 5530 XM will be available in the Q3 this year for an estimated price of 200 euro before taxes.

Samsung Omnia Pro – full QWERTY keyboard and a big screen

New phone from Samsung have leaked a couple of hours ago, first it was called Samsung B7610 Louvre, but then another leak from the Samsung’s official website showed to us that B7610 Louvre is actually Samsung Omnia Pro.

Samsung Omnia Pro has got a large 3.5 inch AMOLED touchscreen with a sweet 480 x 800 pixels resolution. The phone also has got a full side-slider QWERTY keyboard. Omnia Pro runs on the Windows Mobile OS – probably WinMo 6.1, it will also be upgradable to Windows Mobile 6.5 when it comes in September. The new Omnia actually does support 16M colors, but due the restrictions of Windows Mobile 6.1 OS Omnia Pro will be able to utilize 65K colors.

The camera of this device has 5 megapixels with autofocus, sadly the phone doesn’t have flash of any kind. Samsung Omnia Pro has got 1GB of built-in memory and a microSD card slot with up to 32GB support (when eventually became availble).

The new Omnia Pro offers some great connectivity – quad-band GSM support, HSDPA support with 7.2Mbps, WiFi 802.11 b/g, built-in GPS reciver with A-GPS support, Bluetooth 2.0, miniUSB port and FM Radio with RDS.

Samsung Omnia Pro should be available in France in July – Orange and SFRm, the price is around 350 euro or $500 US dollars. Source

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 specs and photos

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 have leaked again, this time we have specs, two more photos and we can tell you that the device is really in the making judging from the photos. This new photos reveals a large part of the specs sheet. XPERIA X2 will have 3.5 inch WVGA OLED touchscreen and an 8 megapixel autofocus snapper. The RAM and the CPU speed will also be upped; RAM – 512mb.

The new XPERIA will run on customized by Sony Ericsson Windows Mobile 6.5 OS and Windows Mobile 7 is also supported so an upgrade is possible when the new OS becomes available. There is also PlayStation 3 remote play feature onboard, built-in GPS reciver and video recording VGA@30fps. Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 leaks

This is actually the first photo of the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2. XPERIA X2 brings joy to all Windows Mobile OS fans. We don’t know the specs, we’ve got only this low-res photo of the phone.

X2 is the successor of the popular Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1, the phone is codenamed Vulcan. Judging from the photo, XPERIA X2 will probably run on the Windows Mobile OS 6.5. Samsung M8920 – 12mpx with 3x optical zoom cameraphone

A couple of days ago an anonymous tipster from Pocket.co.il forum have posted a photo of what he says is Samsung M8920. The unique thing about this handset is the camera.

It comes with 12 Megapixel camera with both LED and XENON flash, probably the LED flash is for video recording and the XENON flash is for taking photos in the dark. The phone also supports 3x optical zoom, if Samsung get the image quality right M8920 will replace low-end/mid-end point-and-shoot cameras.

On the other side there is a large touchscreen, the phone also comes with 8GB of internal memory. There is built-in GPS reciver and WiFi with DLNA support onboard. According to the source Samsung M8920 will be an extra large handset because of that high-tech features. It will run on Samsung’s TouchWiz Interface.

The phone could be announced at one of the three simultaneous Samsung events in London, Dubai and Singapore next week. Stay tuned for more information. Source

Nokia 6600i officially announced – 5mp camera and 3G

Today Nokia have announced the successor of 6600 slide – it’s called Nokia 6600i slide. There is some design changes and the camera was upgraded to 5 megapixels.

Nokia 6600i has got a 2.2 inch TFT display, 3G support, Bluetooth, microSD slot, and FM Radio. There is also built-in accelerometer for tap commands. The ratail box includes 1GB microSD card.

The only difference is the camera – 5mp instead of 3.2 mp. The dual-LED unit is the same and the video recording resolution and fps is the same VGA@15fps.

Nokia claims the 6600i is the smallest 5MP slider in the world for the moment. We liked the Nokia 6600 slide, we think we dig the successor as well.

The phone is expected to hit the market in Q3 this year at an estimated price of 200 euro. Source

Samsung B7300 leaks, looks a lot like S8300

Samsung B7300 have leaked yesterday, the phone looks like a copy of S8300 but it isn’t. It runs on a TouchWiz Windows Mobile OS, the display is the same as the one on the Omnia – 3 inch WQVGA TFT touchscreen. Accourding to the source, the screen resolution will be 320 x 400 pixels, we can’t know for sure.

The phone has got a poor connectivity. There is no 3G or WiFi, just EDGE. This is because the phone is headed for the China mobile market and they doesn’t have 3G network yet.

Samsung B7300 has got a built-in GPS reciver, the rest of the features are standard – microSD slot, Bluetooth 2.0, FM Radio and microUSB port. The camera has 3 megapixels which is a step down.

This phone is like a lite version of Samsung Omnia, it measures 107.9 x 51.8 x 13 mm and weights just over 100 grams. The release date and the price are not known yet.

Acer Aspire One 751 shows up on acer.de

Do you remember Acer’s 11.6 inch netbook called Acer Ultra? Apperantly Acer have rebranded this model – now it’s called Acer Aspire One 751. Full specs and release date have showed up on the Acer Germany’s official website a couple of days ago.

Fujitsu M2010 officially announced

It’s simple. The Fujitsu M2010 defines what an all-in-one nifty mobile companion for work, school and play should look like and work like. A couple of days ago Fujitsu have officially announced their first member in the Look M series – it’s called Fujitsu M2010 – a 10 inch netbook with standart features, nothing special here. Palm Eos – the next WebOS smartphone

Palm Eos is the successor of the Palm Centro, a couple of days ago this device has recived a name and a face. The handset is only 10.6mm thick and is equipped with full QWERTY keyboard plus quad-band GSM networks support and dual-band HSDPA network support.

Palm Eos has got a 2.63 inch touchscreen with a resolution of 320 x 400 pixels, there is 4GB of internal memory (no memory card slot) and a built-in GPS reciver. The device has got also a camera – 2megapixels with fixed focus and LED flash, stereo Bluetooth and microUSB port are onboard.

The Palm Eos should be sold via AT&T in the US at a price of 350 US dollars before any rebates. Eos is still a rumored device – there isn’t any official announcements.
