Sony Ericsson’s Aino has been hit with software issues that affect the use of its touchscreen feature, Reuters reports. Spokesman Mattias Holm told the publication that Sony Ericsson is working as quickly as possible to fix the issue, which is only affecting a “small number of consumers.”

The A1 Liquid is Acer’s first Android handset, which was announced back in October, will seemingly be shipping this week. This handset is coming with 3.5″ WVGA display, 1 Ghz processor, GPS, 5MP camera, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Acer continues tentative about its entry into the crowded smartphone market, aiming at 8-10 handset releases per year, but Android should do a better job at spearheading Acer’s entry than Windows Mobile. Leaked projections for the A1 are estimating 1.5 – 2 million sales in 2010, and 500,000 before the end of the year.
