Motorola – MING A1600 and MING A1800

Motorola announced two smartphones today. These are two powerfull business devices with Linux, touchscreen, GPS and a lot more.

Motorola MING A1600

It has got 2.4inch 256k TFT display (QVGA resolution), it also has touchscreen and a stylus. There is plastic cover over the display to protect it.

It runs on Linux and it has got quad-band network support, no 3g – it’s targetet at the China market.

It has got 3mpx camera with continuous autofocus. A1600 is the first phones that offer continuous autofocus feature.

It also sports a microSD card slot (up to 4gb), stereo Bluetooth a2dp, microusb and stereo FM, but no WiFi.

There is built-in GPS reciver with geotagging feature for the taken photos.

There is no information about the price and availability plans.

Motorola MING A1800

A1800 has got 2.4 inch QVGA touchscreen display, microSD card slot (up to 4GB), 3mpx camera, stereo bluetooth A2DP and built-in GPS reciver. They are almost the same.

It sports two radio transceivers – it offers simultaneous connection to two networks. With A1800 you can hook up both GSM and CDMA networks. It has got tri-band network support (GSM, GPRS, CDMA).

Yes, there is no information about the pricing and availability.
