BenQ JoyBook – lite netbook

BenQ – company popular with their digital cameras and mobile phones have joined the netbook fray a little bit after Toshiba. They are planing to release their own netbook – BenQ JoyBook, the launch date is sometime around Q4 this year. JoyBook will have two models – an 10 inch version (16:9 aspect ratio) and 8.9 inch version.

They are also planing to ship 3k of 8.9 inch models around October and 5k of 10 inch model around November. JoyBook lite will have the traditional netbook processor – Atom CPU and Windows XP OS. Here are the official specs:
