Well, HTC Touch HD is now official and also the name is official – HD stays for High Definition and Touch Based. First Touch HD leaked online with photos and information (including full phone specs), this was couple of days ago.
This phone is designed to beat iPhone in 1v1 competition, it has got stylish design and it’s full of goodies and features. It’s based on Windows Mobile 6.1 and it’s slim (it’s the size of iPhone) ~115 x 62.8 x 12mm. The highlight around Touch HD is the huge 4 inch display with the overwhelming resolution of 800 x 480 pixels – impressive. It’s powered by 528 MHz Qualcomm CPU and 288MB of RAM. It sports quad-band GSM and dual band (900/2100 MHz) 3G (with HSDPA) support.
It has got 5mp autofocus camera without flash?! Another notable thing is the 3.5mm standart stereo jack and the TouchFLO 3D user interface. It weight 146.4 grams and the battery is 1350 mAh Li-Po.
