Another Netbook announcement, but this time from Packard Bell, this is their first netbook. This one it’s called Packard Bell Dot. It sports 8.9 inch screen and a full Windows XP installation.
A spokesman for Packard Bell explained that this netbook is aimed more from Home/Family users than Business and it seems they have done it. It has got 160GB of HDD, an Atom processor and 1GB of RAM. You can buy it with additional extra’s - 6 cell battery, 3G and webcam. Packard Bell will cost you around $584 - it’s a good price for a slick design and good specs list. It will be released in November this year.
