Inspiron Mini 12 shows up on dell.com

It seems Dell are preparing new netbook/notebook called Dell Inspiron Mini 12 or Dell Inspiron Mini 1210. We can say this is official because this information has showed up on the Dell’s website, here and here. This is 12 inch notebook powered by Intel Atom CPU.

Here is the highlights of the Dell Inspiron Mini 12 specs list

  • 12 inch display
  • 1.33Ghz Intel Atom CPU
  • 1GB of RAM
  • HDD rather than SSD
  • WiFi support
  • Intel GMA 500 Graphics
  • external VGA port
  • Optional 3G
  • 3-cell/6-cell battery
  • Ubuntu Linux or Windows Vista OS

sucks that it doesn’t have a ssd. using a hd seems like taking a step back. :(

i hope dell offers it as an option. i’d pay a premium for a ssd… say 32 – 64 gb?

Maybe Inspiron Mini 9 is for you it has got 4GB SSD drive.
