miTAC preparing their own netbook

October 23rd, 2008 admin Posted in News |

miTAC are preparing their own netbook. The company is known for their Mio GPS navigation systems. Maybe it’s a little to late but it seems miTAC are doing something different, something unseen.

miTAC netbook will run on an installation of gOS this OS has slicker interface than Linux-OS based systems. It’s based on Ubuntu 7.10 and it’s integrated with Google and other Web 2.0 applications.

miTAC netbook would be released this year; no pricing information.
