LG have announced another slider – this one is named LG KS500. The phone won’t get your attention on first look but it has got some nice features like 3 mp camera, built-in GPS reciver (Yahoo! Go maps) and optical touchpad navigation. The handset sports QVGA display and will have affordable price tag. LG KS500 is not a smartphone.
The phone sports tri-band GSM networks and dual-band UMTS/HSDPA support. LG KS500 has got QVGA display with 256k colors and 3 mp camera fixed focus. Also there is 100mb internal memory and microSD card slot up to 8GB. This is the first handset from LG that sports optical touchpad.
KS500 brings built-in GPS reciver with A-GPS support, it runs on a Yahoo! Go maps but you can always use Google Maps for Mobile instead of Yahoo’s.
There is no pricing and availability information, but according to the source “subsidized price seems a fair guess.”
