Nokia N97 officially confirmed - GPS, WiFi, 5MP camera, QWERTY

December 3rd, 2008 admin Posted in News | Tags:

Get rid of all fake photos of Nokia N97, yesterday has leaked official promo video of Nokia N97. The phone has got large 3.5 inch touchscreen TFT and full side sliding QWERTY keyboard. For me the phone looks a lot like HTC TyTn II. This is the first high-end device powered by the latest touchscreen Symbian S60. So here is some photos of Nokia N97.

The phone ensures world wide roaming, it support tri-band HSDPA networks and quad-band GSM networks - that makes it usable all over the world. The handset has got the massive 32GB if internal memory, 5mp autofocus camera, WiFi, GPS, side sliding QWERTY keyboard touch-enabled Nokia Maps + digital compass and an accelerometer for autoscreen rotation.

The display has got 16M colors and a resolution of 360 x 480 pixels. Of course there is stereo Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack, TV-out and FM radio with RDS. We can say N97 is an heavy phone - it weights 150g but it’s not that big - is thicker than iPhone that’s it. Do you remember this - the Nokia’s 2008-2009 smartphones roadmap, it seems Nokia N97 is quite close in its description to the handset codenamed IP08. So we can trust this roadmap.

Nokia N97 will be available in Q2 2009 for an estimate price at 550 euro. Here is the official video.

    Hi there,

I paid a visit to your website and liked what I saw.

At the moment I work with a client who’s looking to get exposure on some suitable websites. My client works with consumer electronics and video game reviews, and I believe your site might be exactly what I’m looking for.

If you’re interested I can elaborate on what I had in mind.

    Best regards,
