Do you remember the Sony Ericsson Kate? Well the phone has got a model number now – it’s called Sony Ericsson C510, a bar-shaped middle-range Cyber-shot handset that should hit the shelves in two months. We’ve got some specs and nice photo. Sony Ericsson Phillipa looks a lot like Kate, but with some major differences like the 5 mp snapper. But now the confusion is over.

Sony Ericsson C510 have got 3 megapixels autofocus camera with goodies like face and smile detection. There is only LED flash instead of XENON one. The phone has got 120MB of built-in memory and M2 card slot for more. The display is 2.2 inch with QVGA resolution. There is no pricing or availability information yet.

C510 is the budget version of the C902. It would be better if it had Xenon flash.

Why do they name the Sony Ericsson C510 Kate? P.S. I like the silver version.
