T-Mobile Germany have just announced their newest handset – MDA Basic aka HTC Touch Viva. The sweetest thing about this “basic” is the price plan – 4.95 euro with 2 year contract.
MDA Basic is Windows Mobile smartphone and it offers quite a colorful pack of features. The phone comes with 2.8 inch QVGA touchscreen and runs on a Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. The processor is kind of slow – 200MHz TI OMAP 850. There is enought RAM – 128MB. The built-in memory is 256 MB but you put more thanks to the microSD memory card slot.
The other main features is the WiFi support, EDGE – no 3G here and Bluetooth. There is also 2 megapixels fixed focus camera. The phone runs on TouchFLO UI but only 2D.
MDA Basic will hit the market in T-Mobile stores at the beginning of next month.
