Yesterday two unannounced devices came up on the internet with live pictures – Acer DX650 and Acer X960. Both of them run on Windows Mobile 6.1, the hightlight is the dual-side form factor of DX650.
Acer DX650 and Acer X960 have got HSDPA, built-in GPS reciver, WiFi, Bluetooth, miniUSB and microSD card slot. They are quite similar to tech specs. They both have got 533MHz Samsung S3C6410 CPU with hardware graphic acceleration, 256MB of ROM and 128MB of RAM. X960 has got a 3.2 mp camera while DX650 have a 2 mp snapper.
DX650 is kind of weird – from the one side it sports numeric keypad and a 1.27 inch display, on the other side it looks like classic PDA with 2.8 inch touchscreen QVGA.
Acer X960 has got the same display – 2.8 inch but with higher resolution VGA (640 x 480 pixels).
Acer are preparing to announce several Windows Mobile powered devices at the MWC 2009, which is due in less than a week. DX650 and X960 maybe are part of this big announcement.
