Today Sony Ericsson have announced new Walkman phone – Sony Ericsson W995, also known as Sony Ericsson Hikaru. This is the first phone from the Walkman series that sports 3.5mm stereo jack, it’s located on the top. The phone also has perfect stereospeakers.
The main features of W995 is the 8.1 mp camera with autofocus. The phone comes with 8GB m2 card in the box and it has 118MB of built-in memory. Hikaru has 2.6 QVGA scratch-resistant TFT screen 262k colors. On the right side is located the dedicated music buttons plus volume keys and one camera key.
It’s available in three colors – Black with blue includings, Silver with orange includings and Red with blue includings. W995 offers some nice conectivity – aGPS function, WiFi, DLNA, gMaps and PS3 compatibility. On the back you’ll find special kickstand pretty much like in N96. It measures 97×49×15 mm and weights only 113 grams. Sony Ericsson W995 will hit the marken in the end of Q2 this year.
