Today Mio – sat-nav oriented manufacturer presented their latest GPS mobile phone and it’s called Mio K70. K70 offers 3.5 inch screen with WQVGA resolution, a 3 megapixels camera with autofocus and it runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro. The phone offers Mio’s navigation software.
Mio K70 is PocketPC based on Qualcomm MSM7201 platform with a 528 Mhz CPU and 128MB of RAM. This phone is world-wide usable thanks to the quad-band GSM support and tri-band HSDPA/HSUPA network support. There is also built-in accelerometer for autoscreen rotation. WiFi is also onboard.
Mio K70 is not the first GPS-enabled phone but we’re certain that is the most attractive one. The size of this thing is impressive – only 11.9mm in thickness and weights 115 g. Among the letdowns is the lack of thumb-optimized user interface and also low display resolution.
There is no pricing and availability information yet.

Caravan sat-nav <a>
Caravan sat-nav now comes with features, such as broad LCD screen, DVD player, radio tuner with Bluetooth integration and iPod support. Such advanced satellite navigators direct you in a safe manner to avoid low bridges, narrow roads and other hazards. The most important factor while choosing the caravan sat-nav is its version. The latest version is the most updated version, which contains latest road maps, information on new hazards and new developments etc. If you do not buy the latest version, you have a lot to lose. If you already own a caravan sat-nav then, you need to get it updated regularly so that you do not land into troubles, which developed recently but your sat-nav does not have the database updated with it.
