Two months ago we showed you the photos and the model names of the upcoming HTC handsets. Well now we’ve got the specs, they have leaked today.
We’ll start with HTC Whitestone. The phone offers a 528 MHz Qualcomm 7600 processor, 256MB of RAM, 512MB of ROM and will run on Windows Mobile 6.x. The phone also will have a 3.6 inch screen with WVGA resolution, a 5 megapixels autofocus camera and built-in GPS plus A-GPS support. HTC Whitestone is eqquiped with a kickstand and supports dual-mode GSM/CDMA. The phone will start selling in September.
The next phone is HTC Firestone the successor of the popular HTC Touch HD. It will have the same 3.6″ WVGA display and will offers built-in GPS reciver and A-GPS. The amount of memory is the same as well. Here are the differences.
HTC Firestone will have a 600 MHz Qualcomm 8250 processor and will run on Windows Mobile 6.5. This is the first 8 megapixels autofocus handset from HTC debuting in August.
HTC Thoth is the successor of HTC Advantage 7500 and HTC Advantage X7510. It sports a 4.8 inch WVGA screen, a 5 megapixels autofocus camera, 256MB of RAM, 512MB of ROM and it runs on Windows Mobile 6.5.
The most exiting features is of course the fast processor – the 1GHz Qualcomm 8250 Snapdragon.
The next phone is HTC Twin. Sporting a 2.8 inch VGA screen and dual-mode GSM/CDMA. There is also 3.2 megapixels snapper with autofocus and built-in GPS plus A-GPS onboard. HTC Twin will run on Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro and will be eqquiped with two processors (528 MHz Qualcomm 7501A and TI ARM-based LoCosto), 256MB of RAM, 512MB of ROM and will have its debut in July.
The last two phones are HTC Maple and HTC Cedar – successors of the HTC S620. They both sports full QWERTY keyboards, they will also have 2.4 inch displays, 2 megapixels cameras and Windows Mobile 6.1.
256MB of ROM and 128MB of RAM onboard plus the 528 MHz Qualcomm 7225 processor. HTC Maple sports GSM/3G and the Cedar is for CDMA networks. Maple is expected to hit the market in May while Cedar will have its debut in June.
The other HTC handsets leaked in the HTC 2009 roadmap was announced at the MWC 2009 in Barcelona couple of days ago.
