The Chinese company – Huawei confirmed that they will deliver to the T-Mobile operator a smartphone based on the Android OS a.k.a T-Mobile G3. This device was first showed at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in February this year. T-Mobile G3 will be released in the Q3 2009.
Almost the entire front panel is touchscreen, there is only one hardware button on the bottom. For me T-Mobile G3 looks a lot like iPhone (correct me if i’m wrong). G3 sports WiFi, 3G and bluetooth connectivity, there is also built-in 5 megapixels camera and 3.5mm jack for headphones. The handset will run on the Android OS of course.
In UK T-Mobile G3 will start shipping in July-August this year. This is the information we’ve got so far, no word on the pricing or more details.
