Yesterday photos and specs of the first Android OS based Sony Ericsson phone have leaked. It’s codenamed Sony Ericsson Rachael and it’s going to be the next member of the XPERIA brand. The new handset packs top of the line functionality.
The phone is based on the Qualcomm QSD8250 Snapdragon platform, that provides a 1GHz CPU and dedicated graphics acceleration. Rachael offers some great connectivity too – Wi-Fi, built-in GPS reciver and 3G with HSDPA.This fully touch operated phone comes with an 8 megapixel autofocus camera, 3.5mm jack and a miniUSB jack. The best thing about this handset is the display – 4 inch touchscreen with WVGA resolution – 800 x 480 pixels.
The official announcement is scheduled for later this year, there is no information about the pricing of the devices yet.
Later that thay another Sony Ericsson handset have laked, nicknamed Kiki. Kiki packs a really extraordinary design. According to the source Sony Ericsson Kiki offers new display technology, the images gets projected on the glass surface on the screen.
