QWERTY-enabled Nokia 6760 slide unveiled

Nokia 6760 slide is the European brother of the Nokia Surge. There is a couple of changes – 6760 has 3 megapixel camera instead of 2MP. Nokia 6760 slide is side-slider with QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth, microUSB, a 2.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, 3.6 HSDPA and quad-band GSM network support.

Nokia 6760 slide sports 2.4 inch QVGA display (landscape), there is also A-GPS which serves up mapping treats through 3D landmarks and terrain mapping.

The phone is packed with messaging software (Nokia Messaging, Google Talk, Windows Live IM and easy access to social media websites like Twitter, Facebook and MySpace) and the AT&T navigator is replaced with Nokia maps. The phone has 128MB of internal memory and microSD card slot (2GB card provided) with up to 8GB support. The StandBy time is 500h with 5h of talk time – respectable.

Nokia 6760 slide will be available in Q3 this year for 200 euro before taxes and subsidies. Initially available in black, red and white variants are expected later in the year for some countries.
