Sony Ericsson’s Aino has been hit with software issues that affect the use of its touchscreen feature, Reuters reports. Spokesman Mattias Holm told the publication that Sony Ericsson is working as quickly as possible to fix the issue, which is only affecting a “small number of consumers.”
As we reported Wednesday, Sony Ericsson’s other big device being pushed this holiday season, the Satio smartphone, was taken off of some retail shelves in the UK because of a glitch that causes the phone to power off unexpectedly.
Analyst Geoff Blaber of CCS Insight told Reuters that these issues couldn’t come at a worse time. “Aino and Satio are Sony Ericsson’s key products for the final quarter,” Blaber said.
