Nokia today announced that the highly anticipated Nokia N900 is now on sale in the United States and shipping to consumers who jumped on the opportunity to be among the first to pre-order the Maemo-powered mobile computer. With the Linux-based Maemo platform and with multiple ways to connect to the Internet, the Nokia N900 enables users to be online as it happens with a powerful computer in the palm of their hands.

The new Nokia E72 smartphone is now available in stores. Nokia E72 is based on the slim Nokia E71 and comes with a QWERTY. The new Nokia smartphone has an upgraded 5 megapixel camera and 3.5mm headphone jack. Nokia E72 also is loaded with Nokia Ovi Maps for A-GPS navigation and Nokia Messaging for push email.
For the first time you can set up instant messaging (IM) directly from the homescreen, accessing communities such as Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, Google Talk and Ovi Chat.
